Principal H1B petition validity while applying for H4 visa

Hi,
Is there any law/rule which says when the spouse is applying for her h4 visa, the minimum validity on the principal H1b should be some weeks/months. My wife is planning to apply for h4 visa on last week of June 2014 and my current I797 is valid till December 5 2014. Will it be a problem? or how should we go ahead with it. Please respond ASAP so that I can better prepare.

No Issues and She would get Her H4 up to your H1 validity.
