Tax Returns (H1B)

Dear Friends,

I am going for H1B.

Is is really required to carry the TAX RETURNS of the employer for the interview. As such i don't have that.If they ask for??? What sh'd i tell?

Hi Ganesh,

If u don't have company tax returns, tell them that u don't have at the moment. In such a case they may put u under 221(g) --> additional documents required.

Today i had my visa interview, i got 221(g) requesting for additional documents.

Dear Shry,

Actually what all documents you had and what all you didnt have with you.
I have prepared everything as per USCIS website...

I have: I-797,DS156, DS157, DD's, Complete petition documents(I-129 and also includes Labour condition application), bank statements,
Experrience letters, Degree certificates, present and US company photographs, brochures,etc..Resume, Present and past company's personal managers and co-worker details and payslips for 3 months....

this is what i have,,,i dont have onething which is TAX RETURNS from my US employer...

what do you feel about my condition ...Is there a possibility of 221(g)!!!

I am not the right person to answer for the question "whether there r any chances of 221(g)" i believe..

Even i was going through the forums from various sites from the time i got my H1-B approved.

Below is the list of doc's i prepared
Checklist
Letter to the embassy(by my employer)
I-727
I-129 petition
LCA
Education evaluation
Cashier's order
D-156, D-157
offer letter

Education transcripts
Employer doc's like brochures and printouts of the website
Previous experience and offer letters
Paystubs
IT returns
If u have kids carry their birth certificate
Marriage registration certificate

these r the documents i carried to the counslate.
1)They asked me & my husband few primary questions like name and DOB.
2) Asked for present employer head count and then the US employers
3) Whether going to work alone or with agroup of programmers
4) How many employees of US employers are on H1 B
5) Asked abt the pay, whether ur current pay is more or less to ur US pay

Then after all these questions, stamped as documents received in all the passports and issued an 221(g) mentioning additional information needed.

I hope this will help u.
Inspite of preparing all the doc's, we can't say what they r going to ask.
But what i understand is they r more intersted on ur employer information.
