H1 B Transfer - Job ending on 27th Feb

Hi All,

I came to US around 1.5 years back and my last day with emp A is 27th Feb.

Till now i was unable to find a suitable position, I'm trying from last 1 week.

My question is : I have a consultant who is ready to file my transfer, but he says the receipt will come on 4th/5th March and till then i cannot resign but my last day is 27th I have no choice.

What should I do here? go back for go out of status for 3-4 days.

When is your I 94 expires? As long as your transfer petition reaches before your last working day, you are good to go. I don't think any issues in that.

Why don't u ask your current employer to give one more week by explaining your current situation? Did you try that?
