Document needed H1B transfer

Hi,
Other than the Current H1 approval notice and the latest pay stubs, what are the documents required for h1b transfer?

documents needed for visa

1. Appointment letter that they mail you after you do the reservation slot booking.
2. Completed form DS-156 (bar code should be there for mexico/canada)
3. Completed form DS-157 for male applicants.
4. USD 100 cash, money order or certified check
5. I – 797 original form
6. Copy of LCA
7. Complete copy of I-129
8. Tax documents - W2 forms
9. Letter to consulate general
10. Employment letter
11. Most recent paystubs. (atleast 6 months is good)
12.Education certificates M.S Degree/Diploma ond/or bachelors degree(If education is from USA OPT EAD card, I-20)


If you have pictures of your office you can carry for safety its not really necessary

Are these the documents required for stamping? I wanted the documents required for h1b transfer. Can anyone provide me the same?

1. Offer letter of the new company.
2. Previous company pay stubs
3. approval notice of previous h1b
4. educations evaluations (may be needed ask the lawyer)
5. approval letter for the new h1b

H1B transfer receipt and time taken

Thank you very much for letting me know about the documents.
After going thru some msgs in the forum, i understand that as soon as we receive a receipt for the h1b transfer application form, we can start working for the new employer.
1. How long will it take to receive this receipt?
2. Should we receive the receipt within 2 weeks from the date of filing?
3. Is there a premium processing for h1 transfer?
4. If a person starts working for the new employer after receiving the receipt and if the h1 transfer fails then what should be done?
