  • H-1B transfer from outside US

    Hello,

    I have my H-1B with a specific employer X.
When i moved to the US with this specific employer, another company Y interviewed me and they gave me my dream job.
They were ready to transfer my H-1B to their company.
They needed me to immediately join them so i moved back to my country to make some arrangements.

Now, since i am back to my home country, my new company's lawyers wants to file a petition with consular notification.

Does it mean i have to go through stamping again or can i travel with my existing visa?
Also, i dont have pay stubs with my current employer X. Is this process risky?

Yes, with consular notification you would have to attend the interview.
What do you mean you dont have paystubs from X? When you moved to US weren't you working with X? How long were you in US with X?

This is my opinion not legal advice.
