Attending H1B from a different location

I am from Chennai location but can I attend the h1b interview from Hyderabad or Mumbai.
If so what are the pros and cons of it.
Can someone please let me know, I am planning to attend the interview in the next 1 week.

You can appear any US consulate for visa stamping.
