My H1b was just approved and stamped in my passport, which is valid from March 1, 2014. However, I will only be starting work at my employer in September 2014, and will until then, be living outside the US.
As I also have a valid B1/B2 visa, can I therefore enter the US for vacation on that status without any issue before I start work? Or would I be expected to bring my employer documentation with me (e.g. offer letter etc) even if I just want to visit the states for a short vacation?
