    May I know whether, any (new) employer can file for extension of this H1B or only the original employer who got me this H1B can file.

    Yes - your employer can apply for extension even after expiry date of your previous H1B. There isn't any time-limit on this as per my knowledge. I know one case where employer applied for extension after 5 years of first H1B expiration.

    My H1B has expired on Dec 2013 with which I have travelled once already, may I know whether I can apply extension from India (im currently located in India) and is there any time line with in which I need to apply for extension?
