Query - Booking an appointment/ visa fee

I have completed the DS160 form for myself and my wife. I have few questions about fees and stamping

1) Do I need to pay the fees separately for me and my wife, so that we get individual receipt numbers?
2) After paying fees. can we book the appointment together at the same time?
