i'm in North Carolina. My DL is set to expire on 3/23 and i went to get it renewed and applied for a Motorcycle permit. Passed the test and did all the renewing procedures.
However, they said they weren't able to extend the date beyond 3/23. I had ransferred my H1 which is valid till October of this year. the stamped visa on my passport is valid till 3/23.
they gave me a number to call which I did. they said that my case has gone to getr clearance from the Dept of Homeland Security.
I had Biometrics appointment today for my 485 today. Maybe that's the reason for the 'hold' by DHS. i dont know.
I am confused. Anyone else had the same experience?
