H1B transfer,received i797B, DS-160 form, verification requested for few answers
Hello,
I need your help to answer couple of questions in DS160 form. It is i797B, H1B transfer case.
Here is the timeline of my case:
F1 visa issued 1st July 2010
Started working on H1B visa 1st Oct 2013
Last day on the pay roll and USCIS notification by employer A 2nd Jan 2014
Employer B filled for H1B 13th March 2014
Received H1B approval with form i797B 7th April 2014
I am going to India for H1B stamping.
Can you please verify following answers:
1. Has your U.S. Visa ever been cancelled or revoked?
NO
2. Have you ever been issued a U.S. Visa?
YES
3. Date Last Visa was Issued:
01 JULY 2010
4. Are you applying for the same type of visa?
NO
5. I am not working from last 3 months. I have left present work information filed blank.
Is it correct?
6. Have you ever been unlawfully present, overstayed the amount of time granted by an immigration official or otherwise violated the terms of a U.S. visa?
YES
Explain:
After termination of employment from old employer on 2nd Jan 2014, I overstayed. I received initial offer confirmation from new employer on 12th Jan 2014.
I left the USA after receiving i797B on 10th April 2014 for H1B transfer case.
7. Do I need to drop off employer A ‘s I 94 form while leaving USA?
