Hello,
I am Comp A's employee and working for Comp A's client (Comp B) in US on H1B work permit from last 2 months.
Comp B now offered me to join them on permanent employment.
My approach would be:
1. Ask Com B to initiate my H1B visa transfer.
2. Upon getting approval for my H1B visa transfer, Quit Comp A and serve their 2 week notice period.
3. Comp A will cancel my work status on my last day of employment.
4. Join Comp B.
Please let me know if this is a correct approach.
Also, I already got my LCA processed for COMP B when I had to work for it as a contractor, now since I would become an employee, should I need to reply for LCA for working at Comp B?
If my H1B transferred is approved, should I need to visit my country for re-stamping?
Thanks in advance.....Really appreciate your kind help.
