Can someone please explain me this H1B Cap Exempt. Say I have Got my H1B Visa approved on Jan 2014 and it will expire on Dec 2014. Once the Visa expires after Dec 2014, can I re-apply for new H1B and get cap exemption?

No need to file for new H1B,your future employer must file a CAP exempt petition & you have to go for visa stamping.

Thank you snehanew. Is the fees filing same like new H1B or cheaper. Can this be done from India. Say Company A had applied for the new H1B, can it not again apply for the CAP exempt petition.
