Hi,

Urgent ....please anybody could reply me. Soon I'm going to attend h4 visa interview.I'm really confused do I need original employment verification letter and client letter.?

Make sure to have all the below documents. This list was prepared myself when my wife was attending h4.


1 VFS interview appoitnment letter
2 DS-160 Filled form
3 HDFC Bank Receipt
4 Photograph
5 Applicant Orignal passport & Principle applicant PP copies of all pagess
6 Marriage certificate
7 Marriage invitation Card of both families
8 Entire Wedding photo album
9 Letter from Employer
10 I-797 approved petition copy
11 I-129 petition copy
12 LCA
13 Principle applicant visa copy
14 work exp letters
15 US Bank statement
16 Pay slip

Thankyou so much for your timely reply. Could you please clarify my doubt .

1. Letter from employer - copy is sufficient.?

2. Bank statement - do I need 6 month bank statement.?

1. It's good to have the original letter from the employer.

2. Yes, 6 months bank statement would do.

Its always better to have more than what is just sufficient. Most of the time, they don't even check all the documents but you never know. I don't want to get stuck just because of missing required documents.
