Hi,
Due to a fire at my apartment, i have lost all of my belongings including my passport and other supported documents (Birth ceritificate, Indian License). Please let me know the process for getting new passort and visa/I-94. Currently both my I94 and visa expired on Apr 10. I have filed extension and its under process at USCIS.
When i read at the BLS International website, it was mentioned that i should get approval from Embassy/Consulate for applying new visa for my Lost one. what is the procss for that.
Do i need to appear in Person or thru mail?. Im in Ohio, so its under New York.
Can i apply in tatkal?
What is the process of visa and I 94 as they have expired?
Will they issue me a SSN card, only after getting all the details above.
My wife and Kid passports were also destroyed.
