Hi !!!!

My question is:

My husband's H1 visa was till 2006 but we surrendered our H1 and applied for L1 so that I can work after having L2.Is our H1 visa still in background or its completely cancelled.

Surrendering it might be equal to giving up, So might be cancelled I guess, But not really sure, Thats what I theoretically understand.

As long as your H1 visa petition is not expired, you can work on H1 visa also.

Oh yeah!! you being on board, cancelling wouldnt happen I guess unless some mischief happens, as u surrendered legally, you might be in a legal status to work on ur h1.
