All,
The USCIS has proposed a rule of granting EAD to the following H4 people:
1. whose spouse has an approved I-140
2. whose spouse has got an H1 extension beyond 6 years based on their in-progress GC process
This rule is currently published on the regulations.gov website and is open for public comments. The comments are due by July 11th. But don't wait and provide your comments ASAP. USCIS is considering mainly two aspects while proposing this rule: retaining talent & the humane aspect. So please make sure that you include all the points that, you think, will support this rule.
And finally, please spread the word and have as many people posting positive comments as possible.
Thank you
