  • H1B Extension Stamping in Costa Rica

    Hi,

My H1b visa expired in 2013 December and i have a H1B visa extension approval from which is valid from Dec 2013 through Dec 2016.
Now iam planning to go on vacation to Costa Rica in June 2014. iam going to get Costa Rica visa to enter that country and also booked my H1B visa stamping appointment date in
    US consulate at Costa Rica.

I donot see many posts or forums about visa stamping at Costa Rica.

Is that okay to go to Costa Rica for H1B re stamping?

I tried Canada visa and its taking too long to process. its almost 45 days and still didn't get the Canada visa so i opted to go to costarica on vacation and also stamping at the same time.

    Any thoughts?

Hi migthysteak, I am on the same boat as you and have a vacation planned for Costa Rica in July. There are no dates available in Toronto for this month and am planning on getting my visa stamped in Costa Rica.

    1. How easy is it to get an appointment date for July?
    2. How did your interview go?

    Please share your experience.
