Applying for H1B being married to a Permanent Resident
Hello everyone,
My fiance is in USA on a green card. I am going for a job that is on H1B visa, but have around 8-9 months before it begins.
I avoided getting a spouse visa as i heard it can take years if you are married to a permanent resident in comparison to US citizen, where it takes a few months. (Am I right??).
So now if I get married before applying for the visa, will my husband being in USA increase chances of rejection of H1B visa? Should I just get married after applying for the visa?
Please some one advise. I have not been able to find it anywhere. SO I though I should ask it here
