H1B interview delayed

Hi,

My documents got approved on 10-Jan-2014. However, my employer is not giving me client letter because of which I am unable to attend the visa interview till date. I have the following queries

1) Will it cause any issue during the visa interview process because of this 6-7 months delay between documents approval and the visa interview
2) What could be the impact on the visa approval period

1. Dont see any. One can use and approved petition within 6 Years.
2. Dont see any.
