H4 Visa query

It was a pleasure reading the responses you have send out to help people.

well hope to get some help from you on the same matters.

Well my fiance will be in india on the 24th Nov'05 and has his visa stamping appointment on the 28th Nov'05 at new Delhi for H1B.
We are getting married in Dec and on the 14th Dec i have taken a web appointment for my self for H4.

Cauld u tell me that do they ask about my work experience in India.. and do they require papers to verify that...I have worked at one place but have only the appointment letter and few 1-2 salary slips of the same but do not have a experience letter.. will that effect my visa.

Sorry to bother you but thought if you can be of some help as you
have been to so many in the past.

You didn't tell ur current stauts and location..
but for H4, your work experience, pay slips doesn't matter and not required also. they need your marriage certificate, photos etc.

Well iam from India and my appointment is at delhi.

I woul also like to know taht wether it is necessary to get the name changed on the passport before the appointment date and add ur spouse's name on the passport too.


Does it effect if the papers which my fiance will be getting from his company have my surnamed changed wereas i still have my maiden name on my passport.
