URGENT - Will my overstay on H1B affect my spouses H1B transfer

Hello everyone,

I had a question regarding my spouses H1B transfer.

My employment was terminated on the 29th of April, 2014 and my H1B was revoked on the 27th of May, 2014. Another company filed for my H1B again on the 10th of June, 2014 which put me out of status for 40 days before the H1B was filed again.

In the meantime, I got married on the 29th of May, 2014.

My spouse has been working with a big company for the past 3 years on a H1B visa and is now applying for a H1B transfer to another company. My question is, will my overstay affect her H1B transfer. She has never fallen out of status or had any issues with her immigration.

Any help on this will be really appreciated.

Your spouse has her own H1 and is not impacted by your H1.
