Can I stay in US and India alternatively for every 6 months. 6 months in India, 6 months in US, 6 months in India.. so on

If you have a U.S. Green Card, you can do as you ask for a few cycles. Sooner or later, however, at the U.S. Port of Entry, you will be qusstioned about your intent to retain U.S. Permanent Resident status and threatened with possible loss of your Green Card for "abandonment" of your status.
