Hello,

I am on H1 visa and My husband is on H4 visa. He was in USA on H4 visa. He went for stemping in india and they have asked to provide evidence that he will not work in USA as H4 visa. He has no plan to work in USA. and we know that working on h4 is illigal.

what documents/evidence shall we provide ?

Strange request from the officer. Did your spouse have a previous H1? Maybe if you can put the H4 interview experience in Q&A format here it might give some pointers as to why the officer asked such a document.
