Advantage of USC during H1B visa interview

Hello friends ,

Need suggestion ,feedback or any experience faced .

Is it an advantage ? to take a USC along with you during H1B interview at Mumbai consulate . Worried if they will even allow the child ( 3 years ) since he doesn't required any
VISA (already a USC) .

We don't have any one (as of now) with whom our kid can stay and also wondering if we his presence will make a better case for our fresh H1 & H4 stamping interview.

Accompanied by a US Citizen kid doesnt improve or lower ones chances of H1/H4. H1 would be decided based upon yours, and your employer's ability to satisfy the laws around H1. And H4 based around the relationship to H1.

As for allowing the kid to enter the Consulate with you two for the interview, as the kid is a US citizen would be allowed entry with US passport, but I would suggest you talk to the customer care to determine the option.
