H1 renewal question

Hi,

My H1 is expiring in Oct. My company is filing for renewal this month.
So i believe a wait time of approx 2 months is what I am looking at right now.
I already spent 3.5 years in US so far and left with only 2 more years.


Could you please advice if I can start my job search while renewal is filed as I wanted to change my employer so as to stablize my
job here and also to apply for GC . PLease suggest if it is a good/bad move.

If in case I got an offer while renewal is in process how will it affect the H1 renewal/transfer.
What complications should i be worried about.

When is your I-94 expiring? As long as you can get the transfer petition approved and get a new I-94 along with that before current I-94 expiry , it will be fine.

I94 expiration is same as Visa in Oct.
