I have one query regarding H1B transfer. My situation is as follows.
- Currently I work for company ‘A’ and my visa is valid till Sept 20, 2014.
- My current employer filed for visa extension and got an RFE on Aug 01,2014.
- Meanwhile, company ‘B’ (prospective new employer) files for H1B transfer (normal processing) on Aug 08,2014.
– So if I leave company ‘A’ on acknowledgement receipt of H1B transfer by company “B” and company “A” does not responds back for RFE, would there be any effect on visa-transfer and further extension?
- Is it advisable to work for new employer on acknowledgement receipt?
- If the answer to the above question is yes, then is there any chance of H1B transfer or extension getting rejected?
