first time H1B interview in sep is it risky?

I'm in india and I have an approved H1B petition valid from oct 2014, I had asked my employer to let me start working in usa from oct but he is telling me, rejection chances are high if I go for stamping in september and said generally he sends all his employees for stamping in december. Is this true that rejection chances are high in september?

Hi,

Normally from Mid Nov to Jan job market will be slow in US compared with other months. So employers will not encourage employees to be in US before December.
