Hi,
I am having few queries regarding H4 / dependent visa for my family. The situation is -
I am from India, currently in UK on Work Permit. I want to apply for visa stamping in London on my H1b petition expiring by end of October 2014.
This means I will get the visa to travel till end of October 2014 I guess.
My wife is currently in India for a delivery of our baby which is due in December 2014
If my firm applies for H1b extension after I arrive at US, what are the options I have for applying visa to my spouse and the new born baby.
The queries are:
1. Even if my wife visa application is applied in parallel to me in India(while I apply in UK), will she get the visa stamped till my Petition end date (end of Oct)
2. Can they apply for visa to travel after Mar/Apr if my Petition extension in still in progress ?
3. Can I travel in between the renewal process.
The situation is slightly confusing, request your expert advise on this.
