green card process for srilankan

Hi
I recently got married and my wife is srilankan citizen

I would to know how long does it take to get her green card if she finds an employer to file for her H1

what's the current GC priority date for srilankan citizen

Applying for H1 and GC are two different things. The earliest she can move to H1 is Oct 2015, as this years cap is over. On the other hand GC can be filed anytime. You need to ask her prospective employer if they will file for her GC in EB1 or EB2 or EB 3? For Srilanka born EB1 and EB2 are current that means around a year considering the processing times. EB3 is at Apr 2011, that is a wait of 4 years.
