  • H1 Revoked

    Hi Everyone,

Can some one please guide me on this.
Im from India. I had applied for H1b on 2013 , I got through lottery, got my I797 and even I did stamping. I got a visa from Sept 2013 til Sept 2016.
Now before flying to US, my Employer updated me that due to project issues they have to take back the offer letter and later they slowly revoked my H1b.

Now after a year,I started searching jobs in US from India. I had few doubts,
    1) if i get a job in US, can the new Employer do a "H1transfer" with my revoked visa? Do i need to freshly apply in 2015-16?
    2) Is SSN number mandatory for H1 Transfer as in my case I haven't traveled to US so i dont have my SSN number.

    Regards
    Fabian

    Hi,

    1) Yes new employer can do H1 transfer. During travel u need to carry documents which u get from the new employer. No need for a fresh stamping.

    2) SSN is not required.

This is my opinion not legal advice

    Thanks,
    Rajesh

        Hi,

For applying Job SSN is not required, after entering to US u need to apply for SSN and then the Bank account.

        This is my opinion

        Thanks,
        Rajesh
