Gap in employment

I am switching jobs and have to put in my notice. I will end my employment at my old job on a Friday. However the new job starts on Monday. Is the 2 days gap going to be an issue in future?

As far as I've read people have suggested that it could be an issue in Green Card application. I guess I am looking for another confirmation before I talk to the lawyers.

Weekends are excluded It would be fine.
