  • H1B visa interview experience karachi consulate

i had a interview today and visa officer kept my passport and i 29 form and issue me a white paper of 221(g) he said " no additional documents required" and tick on administrative processing check box.

what does it means? are they refusing my visa? do anybody have the same sort of experience?

Thanks for sharing your experience—it mirrors a lot of what I went through. What helped me most was keeping answers crisp and factual: who employs you, exact job title, work location, salary, and a one-line summary of duties. I carried originals + copies of DS-160 confirmation, appointment letter, I-797, LCA, pay stubs, employer letter, and (since I’m EVC) a client letter. Arriving 30–40 minutes early and organizing docs in the order they’re usually requested made the window time smoother. For prep, I made a simple packing list and interview one-pager in bit flare so I wouldn’t forget anything on the day. If anyone gets a 221(g), don’t panic—respond exactly to what’s asked and keep your employer in the loop.
