    H4 to H1 - stamping question

    I have recently changed my status from H4 to H1. I have my H4 stamping valid until June 2006. I have to travel to UK urgently in next few days. Can anyone tell me if I can come back into US on H4 stamping and then later convert my status back to H1 using some application? Thanks in advance for any help.
