Work Related Travel Limitations while on H1B visa

Hello,

I am currently working for a company on H1-B visa. My work requires me to travel frequently (7-8 days a month) to our branch offices and to customer locations within the US. My primary work location is the same as indicated in the LCA and h1b petition.

1. Is there any limitation on the number of days of travel/business trips?
2. Is my travel considered work outside of primary location and does this violate any LCA/h1b amendment requirements?

Hello, PKSwamy.

As long as your reporting office stays same as your declared office, it is fine to travel as many times for workshops/seminars etc.

If your reporting office changes then you should consider filing an amended petition.
