H1 stamping in UK

I have to make an urgent travel to UK in next few days. Anyone can tell me if it is safe to get H1 stamping at the US consulate in London to travel back into US? Thanks in advance for the help.

You need to get it stamped in the home country. You can get it stamped in UK if you are living in UK on work visa or better.
