H4 to H1B is approved... and H4 extension is still under process

Hi specialists,

My wife's H1 was approved couple of days back. Meanwhile her H4 extension was in process. Her H4 was expired 10 days ago. And we have applied fpr H4 extension 3 months back and it still under process as we have received the receipt number. So her H1 is not going to affect with her H4 extension process right? or do we need to withdraw the H4 petition for extension.

If the H4 extension is approved , what will happen to her approved H1 which will start from Oct1? Please let me know your ideas
