  • Do I need to go for a Visa Stamping when I change my employer?

    Hello,

I have a valid H-1B Visa till Aug, 2016 from ABC Company however I shifted to new employer and my H-1B Visa was transferred to XYZ from ABC.

Question is, do I need to go for Visa stamping from XYZ petitioner even though I have a valid Visa from ABC (my previous employer)?

    Please confirm!

    Thank You!

    No you need not.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

Thank you for confirming. Yes, I have received the same update from other people. Just to add, I need to carry the new I-797 as Immigration Officer at Port of Entry might ask while entering into USA.

However, I have one question - Is there anyway I can get the confirmation officially? Like a logging some request to USCIS or somewhere? I am trying to find out the same with no luck yet
