Finance degree -> data analyst (non-finance) - would it hinder H1B application?

I graduated in May with a bachelors in finance from a school in the US. During the semester I worked for a local company part-time and stayed aboard full-time after graduation. Currently on OPT until mid-2015. My role isn't finance per se, but more of an data analytics/account management role. Would that be a problem when the company sends an H1B application?
