H4 extension - While H1 extension in Process

Hi,

My H1-B visa is in the process of extension and my dependents are yet to reach US. My Visa expires in Dec and my dependents are reaching US in mid Nov. When can I file H4 extensions? Should I wait till my H1 extension is approved or can I go ahead and file extension for my dependents as soon as they are in the US?

Please advice.

File for your extension, and base don that receipt file for dependent extension once they enter US. OR better still file for your extension in premium so that by the time they come in your extension decision would have come.
