Hi All,
I am from India and currently working in europe and I have my h1b approval for one year. I am going to India on vacation and has an option of applying for the visa interview in India. If I get the passport back in time then it is well and good. But I am concerned about, whether I will get my passport back or not if they take time to process my application. I heard in some cases the passport of the applicant is also kept with them while the application is under process.
Please kindly advise.
