Transferring H1 without receiving stamping initially

Hi, back in February 2011 I applied for h1 and got through in the lottery. But I never went for stamping. Is it possible now to get a new employer and then transfer my h1 ? And go for stamping directly without lottery ? Can anyone let me know.

Yes it is possible. Provide the approval notice copy to the new employer and they should be able to file a cap exempt petition for you.
