I am currently on second extension on H1b. I have an approved I-140 with priority date of Dec 2010. an adjustments of status has not been filed. If I change job in similar field can I port over my priority date assuming my current employer does not revoke my current green card process? I was under the impression I could but lawyer from new firm is telling me I would loose my priority date. Please help urgently.
