Urgent! H1-B Visa Expired but I-94 is Valid.

Hi,

My H1-B Visa is Expired but I-94 is Valid. I have a situation here that my current employer has no assignment for me and sending back me to India. I am applying for jobs through new employers but they are not entertaining me due to my 'H1-B Visa Expired but I-94 is Valid' condition.

Now, I do not have much time to stop myself by going back to India. Though my effort to search for new employer is on and will remain.

Can anyone suggest me or guide me in my situation.

Your best bet is to find another employer before your last pay day with current employer.
