Delay in SSN
Hi,
I have applied for SSN 2 months back and i haven't received my SSN till now. While applying for SSN i submitted copies of my passport and H1 visa.
When I called SSN office regarding the status, they said the immigration clearance is pending and so the process is getting delayed. I checked online in forums and came to know that name mismatch might cause delay in issuing SSN(I do have a very large name).
What all documents do the immigration department check other than I94, H1 Visa and Passport for matching names?
Please help me in solving the issue.
