Hi,
My employer applied for H1b last year as I was visiting my parents in India they applied in a different category, my petition was approved but they told me I have to appear for visa interview in India between October and May to make H1 active.
So employer gave me bottom portion of I797B form which is lost now. can I ask my employer for the top portion of original I797B and carry that to interview or I need lower portion at any cost?
If I need the lower portion of I797B can I apply for replacement at this point and how long does it approximately take to receive it?
