Hi,
I'm currently on H1b & my I-140 application is approved. I'm planning to apply H1b visa for my wife this year through an employer. I recently came to know that there is a new rule coming up allowing H4 dependents to get EAD while their spouse in H1b has an approved I-140. Can some one please advise on the following:
1. When is the rule expected to be implemented & any insights about it?
2. If its going to be implemented soon, will it be worth for me to refrain from applying H1b for my wife this year? I'm confused on what if I don't apply in this year expecting the new rule & for some reason it doesn't get effective, this will make me wait for one more year.
Any thoughts/advise is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
