H1b Cap exempt rule.
Hi,
I got petition approved on year 2013 quota. My H1B is stamped on July 2014. I went to US from Oct-2014 to Dec-2014. So out of three years I was in US only for 3 months.
So is that mean my 1.5 years of VISA wasted? Or I can get them using ex-cap. After my visa expires, at the time of extension for next 3 years will I get 1.5 years too?
What is ex-cap?
I heard, VISA is 6 years permission to work in US and case like me, I was actually only 3 months in US. So I can use(extend/claim) my wasted years. Is that true?
Please help.
