Hi Guys,
I am currently on L1B visa in US . My wife is on L2 visa (working on EAD). (both visa's/i-94 valid till apr 2016)
My company has decided to file for my H1B and hence H4 for my spouse.
My wifes company is applying for her H1B.
Come oct 2015, ideally we want both of us to have a valid work permit.
There are 4 scenarios:

1. Both mine and hers H1b are not approved : We both are able to work in Oct. (current status holds)
2. Her H1B is approved and mine is not : We both are able to work in Oct. Will she have to leave the country to change from her current L2 to H1 B in Oct?
3. Her H1B is rejected and mine is accepted: She will transfer to H4 and will not be able to work. :-(.
4. Both mine and her H1b are approved : i don't know what happens in this case since she will have valid H4 and H1B come Oct 2015 ?? Can something be done now/after approval -before oct-1/after oct-1 to make sure her H4 does not cancel her H1 ?
