  • Employer not giving payslips.. How to transfer H1

Has anyone been able to transfer H1b to a new employer if the current employer did not give you payslips.

I am working with a very bad employer who is holding my payslips just to not to allow me to switch. They are exploiting all their employees like this.

I want to know if there is a way out of this payslip situation and join a new employer by transferring H1.

    Please help!!

You can complain about your current employer to DOL and attach copy of your complaint when you apply for your H1 transfer.

    This is my opiniom.

      Hello,

Thanks for your response. Has it worked for anybody or is it just a thing of chance.

And should I probably file a complaint on form wh4?

I am just worried that my employer will fire me when DOL will come knocking. Is there a way to protect my job till I find new employer?

One last question, will the DOL help get the missing pay stubs?
